Hi, I’m Luke Middlemiss, a man whose life took a few unexpected turns before landing in the world of love stories and honest, emotion-filled photography.

Growing up, everyone called me Kodak because I was always the kid with a camera, capturing life as it happened. But after school, life got real. I juggled lifeguarding by day and stacking shelves at Liquorland by night, trying to find my path. I even became an electrician, thinking I’d found my future. One day, drilling into 11,000 volts stopped me in my tracks. That moment nearly cost me everything, but it also gave me the clarity I needed to return to what I’ve always loved most: telling people’s stories through photography and film.

Fast forward 22 years, and I’ve now built a life around doing exactly that. I’ve photographed weddings around the world, met incredible couples, and turned fleeting moments into timeless keepsakes. Every love story is unique, and I bring my full heart into capturing yours with warmth, intention, and creativity.

Based on the Sunshine Coast, I specialise in documenting weddings with a guided but natural approach, blending candid emotion with a touch of editorial polish. I’m not just here to take pictures. I’m here to help you feel every moment, stay present, and come away with photos that feel like you.

I adore couples who value connection, fun, and the little things that make their love theirs. Whether your day is quiet and intimate or loud and wild, I’ll be there to photograph it as it unfolds, honestly, beautifully, and with great care.

Outside of weddings, my days start with sunrises and beach walks with my Husky German Shepherd, Leeshe. I find inspiration in nature, archery, jet-skiing, target shooting, motorsports, anything that gets the heart racing. That energy flows into my work and helps me create images filled with life, movement, and soul.

I only take on a limited number of weddings each year so I can give every couple my full creative attention. From the way your partner looks at you as you walk down the aisle to that wild champagne spray with your best mates, I’ll capture it all with heart, clarity, and intention.
